Macaroni Pasta in White Sauce


1. In a large pan, add 3 cups water and boil with a pinch of salt.

2. Once it starts boiling, add 1 cup macaroni pasta and 1 tsp olive oil.

3. Let it cook for 10 minutes. Take one pasta out to check if it mashes easily. If not, leave for 2-3 minutes more.

4. Now drain the pasta in a colander, add 1 tsp olive oil and mix. Keep aside.

5. In a large wok add 2 tbsp salted butter. Once it melts, add 1 tbsp maida and stir.

6. Now add 3 cups milk and whisk continuously to avoid lumps.

6. After 2-3 minutes, the sauce thickens. Now add salt to taste, 2 tsp oregano, 2 tsp chilli flakes, 1 tsp black pepper powder and 1 tsp sugar. Switch off the flame and keep aside.

7. In a kadhai, add 2 tsp butter. Once hot, add vegetables of your choice - Broccoli, Sweet corn, Bell peppers and Olives. Add salt to taste.

8. Stir fry till cooked (Cook at high flame so that vegetables remain crunchy).

9. Now add the white sauce and pasta to the vegetables and mix well.

10. Add 1 cup grated Mozzarella cheese and mix.

Serve piping hot!
